And if you ever joined a #Slack community, you need to login to it and go to account/activate. For every single one of them...

And then nag the community owner to nuke it, assuming it's abandoned.

That or just wait for the data breaches.

And i always thought slack was the least bad corporate chat service/communication thingamajig.

Is there any specific event that made you post this btw?

Part of this routine, but I don't remember what specifically prompted me to nuke Slack.

Ah yeah that is actually a good habit. I really have hundreds if not a thousand accounts all over the place.

Fortunately most are back in the days when i could still use mailinator addresses but i guess a good half of them still have other email addresses or other personal data lingering about.
