Yeah that’s true but at the same time Sheeran doesn’t seem to be trying too hard try something different, same chords, same structure every time but most pop songs rarely stray past 2-4 chords these days.
People here talk about 1971 but if you want a grim chart check out chord and key changes in popular songs from the 1950s to the present day.
