One of my kids favorite easy weeknight meals…deconstructed sushi bowls. I just eat it without the rice. Quick and yummy.

Doesn't having it without the rice make it not sushi?

For me sure I guess, but the rest of my family doesn’t have the dietary restrictions I do, so they have the sushi bowls.

For the most part, I was just being cheeky since it's only the vinegar rice that is "sushi".

Yes I make proper sushi rice for them. Onigiri for their lunch with the leftover today.
