Here in the UK πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ our food isn't too bad. But it could be better. Which is one of the many reasons i grow my own or buy direct from local producers..

If we cut out the middleman, eventually he goes away.

Also, it does a little bit to starve the beast out.

Can't from my own in a central London flat, unfortunately. Can't wait til retirement. Wen garden?

Keep stacking hard.

I'm hopeful for 2030. 🀞

My time preference is getting shorter the closer I get to 60!

πŸ˜‚

That’s not your time Preference that’s just your time πŸ˜‚

Not yet, I hope, brother

I’m 57, I’m with you πŸ˜‰

You are not alone

In 2018 my expiry date was roughly weeks away. So that changed my time preference. It took a few years to get back to thinking about the long term.

Now I have a 3yo boy, so it has been re-extended.

7 years ago I got a fright. Changed my life, shorter time frame. Life is OK as it is. Good luck mate

Same

It's not easy in that situation. But I'd encourage you think outside the box.

Commandeering a local council planter, sticking a raised bed in the odd car park here and there could be an optiion. As could access to a flat roof.

Check out if there is a guerilla garden group in your area. Every % counts.

Even if its herbs grown on a balcony or sunny window.

I start, grow on and sell herb plants on e-bay in a gow tent in my spare room.

I was able to buy Β£1,500 worth of #bitcoin last year.. at Β£20-40k πŸ˜ƒ

Basicly my point is don't limit yourself to "i can't", but liberate yourself with "how can i".

Not around me, unfortunately and the landlords keep selling up!!!

Those london prices are hard to resist πŸ˜
