It is, you mutually agree that you’re entitled only to each other.

Oh brother.. marriage is a partnership built on mutual consent, respect, and shared responsibilities, whereas entitlement implies a unilateral claim to something without regard for the other person’s rights or feelings. Therefore, it is inaccurate and inappropriate to equate marriage with entitlement.

I think you both are correct. nostr:npub13mw9yuzmyv269mtjrcdppgfasjwc4tc9uk5flp7jthnq965j3llqlwjy8k your words are true as long as there is NO STATE issuing a license. Once, two people get involved with a STATE license (paying fiat for a fiat betrothal license) that relationship IS a state sanctioned entitlement.

nostr:npub1qzma7meg002ca33etjcl5xj5s45ymwpq9elvuw0vretpjav97cxsr6n9vf You bring up an interesting perspective. Involvement with a state-issued license introduces legal and regulatory elements to a relationship, making it a state-sanctioned partnership…creating implications on rights, responsibilities, and legal protections within the relationship.

Yes! In my perspective, This makes every state licensed relationship a throuple. We have been blindly following the process forced onto us, and we must act without asking for permission.

Very insightful. Tasty brain food. Marriage is a scam.

😋🧠🍽 It is! The state gets paid for divorces too!

Marriage: a meticulously crafted business plan where it’s sold as an asset, poisoned from within, and then ‘fixed’ for a price. Kinda like healthcare n stuff 🤔

These words! I'm getting serious heart palpation's!!!

😌❤️💥

I would also add that without the state as a third party, there would be no force. If there is no force, then there is no entitlement. It becomes a voluntary relationship which means you can leave anytime you want. So without the state, “marriage” is really just a committed long term relationship 😂

Mutual entitlement doesn’t make sense. If you’re entitled to your partner’s body then you can demand sex but because she is also entitled to your body then she can demand you leave her alone. So whose entitlement rights win?

Mine

If your entitlement overrules her entitlement, then it’s not mutual and it is slavery lol

Someone’s gotta lead.

That’s a matter of opinion which I mostly agree with you on. But call a spade a spade. There is something beautiful about someone willingly choosing to give you their body as opposed to someone giving you their body because of some entitlement contract.

Welcome to marriage.

Are you married?

If you think I’m wrong Zap me

Enjoy your penny 😂
