True, though the truth is that many large public relay operators wipe their DBs at will. It’s not reasonable for anyone to really expect them to retain notes.

Retention policy really ought to be part of NIP-11 so clients can display it.

My paid relay does not delete notes. I realize it’ll be an issue if I ever get big, but thats a problem I think it worth solving.
