i think they are way more logical than any type of ads. the advertising budget get paid to people, not services that show them. user can block them as well since they have control over the thing. and they are based any information you made public your self, not your private data they which is stolen by services and sold without your permission. they are nice. (comparing to traditional spammy approaches.)
