I’ve been waiting for this day all summer! The very first toasted tomato and cheese sandwiches using tomatoes from the garden. It took forever this year on account of a cooler, cloudy spring, and a lack of consistent temperature and humidity. It was dry for weeks with little rain, and then swung from one extreme to the other the rest of the time. Every year is a new set of lessons. But delicious ones, eventually! #gardenstr #grownostr
