Social media is full of people you don’t know trying to make you care about issues that have no impact on your life, so they can get likes/views/impressions and earn a little money from advertisers trying to sell stuff you don’t need. 😭 Nostr fixes this 💜

Anyone who makes money on anything earn it from their customers. The question is, who is the customer? Is the user? Is the advertisers? Is it artists and content creators? If Nostr devs want to become profitable then they need to define that for themselves and build a business plan around that.

It appears to me they’ll have it a bit hard to figure it out but hopefully they do in a way that it keeps #nostr and its relays good for everyone!
The old system will implode. They are disgraceful for what their behavior 😡
Call me old-fashioned, but it seems obvious that it should be a basic courtesy to zap someone if you intend to take what they’ve made and post it from your own account to collect zaps for yourself. 🤷♂️
