Shervin wrote the song based on Iranian tweets, and it quickly spread among Iranians and around the world. Coldplay even performed it at one of their concerts. Shervin won a Grammy for the song. Unfortunately, the Iranian regime has sentenced him to three years and eight months in prison for the crime of singing this song and inciting people.
