Anarchism isn't an ideology. Any toddler upset he can't have ice cream for breakfast has already fully grasped the extent of anarchism as a concept.

By " ideology" i assume you mean definition 3 below. Yes?

Ideology

/ī″dē-ŏl′ə-jē, ĭd″ē-/

noun

1. The science of ideas.

(Metaph.)

2. A theory of the origin of ideas which derives them exclusively from sensation.

3. A set or system of theories and beliefs held by an individual or group, especially about sociopolitical goals and methods to attain them

By anarchism I assume you mean:

anarchism

noun [ U ] politics

us /ˈæn.ɚ.kɪ.zəm/ uk /ˈæn.ə.kɪ.zəm/

the political belief that there should be little or no formal or official organization to society but that people should work freely together

Rather than:

anarchism

noun

a doctrine urging the abolition of government or governmental restraint as the indispensable condition for full social and political liberty.

the methods or practices of anarchists, as the use of violence to undermine government.
