I crowd surfed with one of my daughters tonight at the Jeff Rosenstock show in Brooklyn.

A life experience I didn't know I needed. Absolutely incredible time, and the band fucking loved it.

We've seen them perform around 25 times since 2017. They've watched my daughters grow up. I've always taught my kids not to be parasocial, and they aren't, but the band members genuinely love seeing us at shows.

Music is an important part of my life. I feel so fortunate that my daughters & I share common interest in some bands, and that we bond over nights like tonight. It's an incredible feeling.

These are the moments that they'll remember long after I'm gone. 🧡
