Hudson Yards isn't bringing anyone out of poverty.
Discussion
Are you sure? There are thousands of people who work there. Would they be better off without jobs?
I know someone making over $200k/year who works there, and is very grateful for his position, because he never earned this much…
Since you made the misguided assumptions that capitalism is bad and Hudson Yards specifically doesn’t bring people out of poverty, what are your specific ideas on how to change/improve this multi-billion dollar development which most rational people feel is very positive wealth generator for the city? Before Hudson Yards, there were abandoned train tracks there… junkies shot heroin there, FYI. Very sorry to displace those folks, but I prefer what’s there now.
I understand if you choose not to respond and avoid civil discourse so you can maintain poor ideas, rather than have a discussion and possibly draw different conclusions.
