been re reading the bell jar sylvia plath

Added to the list !

Sylvia Plath is my imaginary best friend. You should read her diary entries as well, she writes beautifully.

Added !

have read and love them!

My pick!

Currently:

1. Normal People by Sally Rooney

2. The Brothers Karamazov (Dostoevsky)

3. Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro

Normal people is good. The others im excited to check out

If you enjoy literary fiction, you’ll enjoy Ishiguro. He’s won the Nobel Prize in literature as well.

Ishiguro is so good. The Buried Giant is my favorite of his

His writing has extraordinary emotional depth, I think he’s going to become another favorite of mine once I read some more of his work.

Human Forever by James Poulos was really good. Currently slogging through Steinbeck's Sea of Cortez. I love Steinbeck but for some reason this one is taking ages to get through.

Sea of Cortez is kinda dense no ? From what i remember

Yeah, he gets into the weeds on some biology stuff. That could be all that's holding me back. I am reading just the log, not the full book.

Best book I've ever read about theology for beginners: It's aptly entitled "Theology for Beginners," by Frank Sheed.

One mustn't let the title be deceiving; the book is profound. And it is so clearly written. Not one wasted word.

Added - thanks for the breakdown, always appreciated.
