I have a question for any cypherpunk that will answer for me please.

I went to go look at the orders I received on my site, it's a WP using woocommerce, and there was one order that showed up as cancelled. When I opened it to see what happened, there was a nonsensical address for shipping. I looked up the IP address associated with the order, and apparently it's an IP associated with spam.

Why would someone do this? What is the point? What would they be trying to achieve by doing this?
