Underclocking my S9. What’s the best silent set up should be ? 650W still noisy! Should I try 450W ? 🤔

I can recommend an printed adapter that will fit a noctua fan with 140mm diameter. Super silent on 450 W

Not gonna spend money on noctua lol. So 450W and 15% fan speed is ok to go?

I've got no experience with the standard fans. I switched to noctua from day one using the S9.

500 W and the noctuas on 70-75% iirc. It's been a while since it was in use (winter time)

I've found 800W with noctua fans are sufficiently quiet enough. But if you don't want to buy those (I understand, they're not cheap) try 450W. You ain't gonna hurt it.

Yeah, I just don’t want to spend extra on the fans, and trying to find a golden mean so it will be running and not just sitting at the summer 😅
