Dang, I actually want to be sympathetic and hopeful that he’s able to avoid a life of parasitic scamming but if he was ok lie to you before there’s a good chance he’s ok lying for sympathy upon realizing you’re not buying the original lie.

I hope he can find a better friend who will hold him accountable to being a better man rather than advising him to scam and leading him down a bad path.
