I don’t see any green in your bucket. I think you’re right. One more day. It’s temperature dependent. During the summer my fodder sprouts take 4-5 days. During the winter, when I sprout in my basement, it takes 7 days.
Mornin' Nostr...
I have been sprouting seeds off and on for a few years. Thinking I might need one more bucket in this stack. Any thoughts on the size of the sprout? Should I be giving them one more day? I kind of think I should be.
These sunflower seeds go to the turkeys currently being moved through the victory garden. There are weeds and some volunteers that they can get but until they get through the whole thing and get onto straight pasture I like giving them something extra.
Thoughts?

Yeah, that seems right. I sprout them in the barn so its generally a little cooler than the outside temps this time of year.
I wonder what the nutritional profile is with just the root forming?
I guess it cant hurt getting the seed and a little root forming.
