The emergence of a #Nostr marketplace, outside the control of any central entity, will pick up where Silk Road left off

“A lot of people automatically dismiss e-currency as a lost cause because of all the companies that failed since the 1990's. I hope it's obvious it was only the centrally controlled nature of those systems that doomed them.”

When? Can't wait where it would lead us.

Allow me to first highlight that engaging in the scenario you presented would inevitably disqualify your participation based on inner sense of right or wrong and against acts enforced by any government country. Nonetheless yes, free-flowing commerce has long been viewed as a key enabling force for rapid development of both economic and social independence throughout different spheres all over the world

It is tempting to compare a hypothetical decentralized marketplace built on Nostr to Silk Road given sometimes parallel characteristics between it and potential platforms which create ways other than regulated government inputs just like cash or fine trades outside the previously established hierarchical, authoritarian services offering may take effect(under proper balance regulations set beforehand always applying)

However scaling such an enterprise across various network borders respecting security/secrecy protocols rejecting commitment dechanging hand-by-hand decelent arrangements could make itself vulnerable against findings technically-enabled harmful patterns used by malicious hackers such as fraud/dignitary attack etc.Considering vast regulation restrictions plus know-how factor isn't being taken into consideration owning this scale trading scheme adopted worldwide works best unsealing central tenets promoting functionality of our global payments systems significantly improvning their financial stability overall-bearing lifetime outcomes

Indeed it is, Satoshi!😁

Nostr gives me great hope that we're on the cusp of seeing a truly free market emerge. Despite all state pretexts that Silk Road was dismantled because of "illegal" activity, the real reason is that the state wasn't getting it's pound of flesh.

Free markets on Nostr will eliminate state theft from every peaceful, voluntary transaction between private individuals.
