I recently read this in a newsletters sent out by an overseas worker my family and I support.

When people ask why I’m so passionate about #Bitcoin, I always connect them with the idea that money (read: time + energy) is being stolen from The Church (read: from the Lord’s anointed) through inflation of the monetary base.

Wow. Those are some serious inflation stats.

Ms feel the squeeze in both directions: inflation and reduction in giving (due to supporters experiencing inflation). 💔

When people feel the debasement-squeeze, the natural response is to reduce charitable giving first.

Not only does this make us less generous as a people group, but it also straps the M-workers with having to give more of their time and energy towards services that are outside of their original commission.

“It would not be right for us to neglect the ministry of the word of God in order to wait on tables. Brothers and Sisters, choose seven men from among you who are known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will turn this responsibility over to them and will give our attention to prayer and the ministry of the word.” Acts 6:2-4

Today, more than just the widows are being overlooked in the daily distribution of food. What was required then was only seven men to fulfill the need…now how many are needed? How many thousands will come off the harvest fields to care for the growing “need” of debt service? Pharaoh will not let you go make sacrifices to your God, there are too many bricks needing to be made.
