No systemd? I've just learned how to use it and the whole podman/quadlet thing 😦

Was there some shit that went down surrounding systemd? I'm wholly ignorant of all this drama.
Some don't like systemd for the way it is an all in one thing that infects the entire system. I'm indifferent, I can use it or not.
I just found nosystemd.org I guess it's very invasive and insecure according to some. And imo the more pervasive software is, the more imperative it is for evil folk to take over the codebase.
Sounds like me writing my own core Nostr protocol libraries right now so I don't get all caught up in these over bloated libraries people are pushing out. I'm about done with all the event specs.

I also use MX Linux on some machines, which is systemd optional. No guarantees on non wokeness there though 😂
