The law is a cop-out response. All we have to do is arrest people for anti-semitism and it will stop being free speech too. So long as your platform always conforms to the ideals of the state, it will never be a robust free speech platform.

I don't think this applies to Nostr though. Images were never a core part of the platform and I would be shocked if the USA ever gives a shit about text based CP, or if Nostr ever gets in trouble for allowing the unchecked distribution of text based notes.

I am! Do you want to take advantage of Nostr's fantastic censorship resistance in order to insult me to my face? It's been way too long since someone's told me to kill myself, let alone shared a more personal or thought out insult.

There is always the idea that you won't do a very good job though, so I understand if you would prefer to just mute me and pretend I'm not here.
