Have been trying to get some autobody repairs done on a company van that was rear ended and has been taking forever to get parts. The autobody shop told me all the car dealerships got hacked and can't invoice anything. Apparently over 15,000 dealerships are totally crippled right now.

Some company called CDK Global was hacked for ransom by BlackSuit on June 19th

Ransomware attack on a private equity-acquired ERP software that hella dealers use called CDK Global. The vulture capitalist fuckers probably axed a lot of their cybersecurity dept in efforts to increase revenue.

So much personal information is on the line

Again… a 3rd of Americans were exposed to United Health Group’s attack in March. Data custodians are repeatedly proven incompetent and retarded 🙄 Experians leak is another that comes to mind. Boils my blood 😡

Public is forced to give information and then it is leaked and used against you. Totally fucked.

Big ooof.

Can confirm. Dealer buddy said they're doing 'questionably legal' things to get deals done.

It is a percentage point of gdp this quarter on the line

Saw this, it's true. They're different businesses but have outsourced systems to compete on costs

The autobody shop set an appointment for twenty days out. Basically unable to complete jobs without oem parts.
