It’s a natural thing. You always long for the “good old days” because your brain selectively keeps the good feelings and memories and burry the bad ones. While in the present you can only face the truth, which includes all the shit one has to face on a regular basis.
Life was great for party members in important positions.
Would she pick those same rules if she knew her worst enemy was picking her party affiliation / rank for her this time around?
