What the teams said – Race day in Saudi Arabia

Piastri got a great start from P2 on the grid, and was side by side with Verstappen into Turn 1. That resulted in the Dutchman cutting the apex at Turn 2, leaving a frustrated Piastri stuck in the dirty air behind. But when Verstappen was handed a penalty for that move, the Australian bided his time, got ahead in the pit stops when Red Bull served the time penalty and from there never looked back as he drove to his third win of the season. As for Norris, he hadto work harderfrom P10 on the grid. Starting on the hards, he worked his way up through the field in a long first stint. He had an entertaining multi-lap battle with Hamilton, but just ran out of time to pick off Leclerc for the final podium place.
