I remain convinced it contains a backdoor. We already found out group messages get transmitted decrypted on reports. I am sure they can trigger the same for one on one

Not your keys, not your account. Until they open source the app and show us that it does what they claim to do, you have to assume the worst (when thinking about privacy and security)
