Maybe promoting the current nest site heavily, all the time, giving to nostr education regarding the fun and enjoyability of it, would encourage more use, of the existing platform, before the new one gets built.

Believe it or not, I am one of audio nests biggest fans and promoters and support this as I think audio nests or whatever someone calls them, are so much faster and more real than typing or memes.
People can stay in the audience if they are to reluctant to talk. But this audio interaction, or just listening to audio voices, is much better than typing.
Having a chat window in the nest would help, as sometimes one person is talking way to much, a chat dialog box allowing others to talk at the same time a rambler is talking is an easy way to not interrupt the forever talker but speak your mind in a chat window, to hopefully show the talker what the others think about what he is saying.
