I’ve actually been thinking about this very point while reading The Bitcoin Standard. Any sufficiently hard money - gold, bitcoin - is essentially previous generations gifting stored-up time and energy to future generations.
The book goes into create lengths on this topic in having a low time preference, it’s pretty cool how it all blends in together really, and a lot of root problems can simply be solved with a shift to sound money 🫂
