"War on drugs" is just a waste of tax money and another example of governmental dumbness

The "war on drugs" has had wide and profitable uses for the State elites.

It has been the main excuse to end financial privacy, to bring the banks to full compliance and cooperation in spying and attacking civilians.

To disarm the population (even more, in Europe), to militarize and give extraordinary powers, funding, manning and spying capabilities to the paramilitary apparatus ("police"). To give more powers, funding and manning to the "public health sector" and the "social welfare sector" (in Europe at least)...

It's as lucrative as anything else and reinforces centralization and tyranny better than anything else. So it will never end, even if they now have "terrorism" as a complement to keep going with the same and worse policies.

And the longer it lasts the more ossified all the governmental structures involved in it become...

Lol, in 2015 I lived in Tarragona. Almost all of neighbors were growing weed but I never realized that it was a drug hotspot 😅

Seems they also grew coke 😁

I can imagine even if I never saw it. Pretty much everything grows like weeds there. Behind my house I had aloe vera plants growing between rocks. Btw. It’s a beautiful place to live. I can recommend even if you‘re not a coke farmer

Whole Spain is incredible beautiful 🌈
