Man, the park I grew up with had a slide from this era. Deadly high and thin. If you fell off, it was on to concrete, lol. I survived.

Yea, I remember high swings, and insane high slide that would burn 🔥 you to hell if you didn’t fall to your death first. Then the merry go round was tilted at a bad angle so one side was higher off the ground and one side was 6” off the ground, didn’t want to hang off the edge as it would crush your skull. Plus it was going fast always from the kids spinning it. Seems like I recall some ambulances until they finally retired it. But it made us tough back then.
