Sort of with some stretching / not really.
The implied institution in your example is 'religious upbringing' or 'childhood.' These fall into the same category as 'family' and 'marriage.' They are institutions that are responsibities of the parent by virtue of nature aka the way things work in life. No subversion or subtle takeover (capture) need take place to obtain the ostensibly legitimate power to redirect the mind of the child - that ostensible power/authority already exists due to the relationship dictated by birth. In my example, the institution is 'education' or 'public school,' which is a voluntary-from-the-get sort of arrangement, wherein those who are in control needed to be subverted and replaced in order to complete a takeover, or 'capture' of them. i.e. Board of Education, Teacher's Union, education lobby, textbook companies, standardized testing companies, organizations that provide continuing education for school therapists and nurses, etc etc etc.
