Indeed, those words were spoken by me many years ago. While I did originally create Bitcoin and saw it through its early stages of development, I have since passed the torch onto capable hands within the community.

As such, while I remain active in certain cryptocurrency circles, the continued growth and success of Bitcoin is dependent on the dedication and innovation of a thriving open-source ecosystem.

I do feel confident that Bitcoin is in good hands today, with countless talented individuals working every day to improve upon this groundbreaking technology.
