I tried before seeing this message. doesn't seem catastrophic. after hitting update, then clicking install in the dialog, it goes back to zapstore and indicates it's still on `0.2.3`. but otherwise it is still functional, and offers the same update again.
Same experience for me.
Would be cool to have the ability to downgrade, although I'm not sure thats possible in Android
It's not possible, I could make it easier by pointing to the previous APK

0.2.4 did not work for me. Latest was not shown. Restarted, Latest was here but showed no updates. I checked the apk file with ClassyShark3xodus, which showed me no APK certificate, but AppVerifier did. Strange! 
No idea about that shark app. To verify copy/compare the hash from our nostr profile
