One friend just called the Bob Dylan's painting from my last letter (https://aillia.substack.com/p/roads-less-traveled) "awful AI slop, not even a good one."

Another said the whole piece "feels AI-generated".

People’s attitudes are messed up in an interesting way: they can’t differentiate anymore: everything is suspect as AI slop.

Thanks to this, we’ve entered Hesse’s Age of the Feuilleton from The Glass Bead Game:

I can’t prove I’m not a bot to X or anyone anymore.

The only "proof" left seems to be historical records, ID, or biometrics... and that’s not happening in my case.

I’m exhausted from proving my humanness, not just to Twitter, but to friends too.

At least Bob Dylan never had to prove he isn’t a bot to anyone.

You definitely misunderstood my intent :)

in no way have I considered you to be a bot and asked for proving your humanness. An AI model can be used to proofread or touch up the article which gave me the sense that maybe it is written by an AI model.

As for considering you a bot, you are one of the few anon people that I consider to be a real person who is capable of making me use my brain with her words. And also the monero morse code challenge I AM STILL AT IT THANKS TO YOU.

A big reason for my existence on nostr would be to read your posts.

Thank you for saying that… it really means a lot, and I know it came from a good place: you’re my friend, that’s why I *actually care what you think* (random internet jerks don’t even register, otherwise surviving online would be impossible 😂). Only friends matter :)

BTW, the person who called Dylan’s painting “awful AI slop” also friend, even offered to help me make "much better" motorcycle AI images, lol 🤣… so yeah, not only I use AI, I apparently suck at it too, which is hilarious given what I do in my fiat IRL🤣🤣 rn I’m just laughing about the whole thing.

and ofc I use LLMs, at least two local ones in my VTT from day one (whisper + another one that cleans up / proofreads VTT output). Whatever, I’m still me :)

you are my friend that's why I actually care to also say what I say :D

I might sound like a jerk a few times but there are no jerk intentions behind it, just me and my thoughts all out there to be countered.

Also hey, whats this VTT flow you got going! tell me about it!
