Context - Aus recently had elections, the incumbent Labor party won despite being rather unpopular due to housing, immigration, and expensive electricity issues.

The Liberals (Ley’s Party) really should have won but they had no platform and the guy in charge is a rich, corrupt ex-cop, who looks like a Potato with that level of charisma.

The Potato didn’t even win his seat so Ley came in as girl boss because the Opposition think they weren’t left-wing enough despite their vote splitting to minor right wing parties.

The Liberals are rejecting their base (small biz owners, conservatives, home-owning families) and trying to flank the major left party from the left it appears.

They wouldn’t say that but that’s what their actions point to. But the left is already dominated by the Commie Green Party who consistently get 10-12% of the vote and are basically woketards so the Libs are basically just lost now with these broads.
