I mostly say that tongue in cheek. When I put my foot down she trusts me. But that's because I'm willing to try things her way when she feels strongly so we can see if it works or not. Its a partnership.
Friendly advice to you. Being a gentleman means having the strength to bend people to your will but knowing when not to.
When you’re my age and have heard100s of men despondent about how their adult kids turned out, and their only console to themselves is that it’s their wife’s fault, I want to encourage younger fathers to embrace the responsibility of leadership when I can.
