Intermittent fasting is great! That's how I started extended fasting. Started with an 8 hour window...moved to a 6 hour window and then reduced it to OMAD with a 4 hour window. From there it gets much easier to do extended fasts if you're so inclined.

Tips would be start slow, don't force and forgive yourself if you break fast early. Also, remember that the feeling of hunger is usually short and goes away quickly. Drink a bunch of water and you should be good. Do something to keep yourself occupied. The extra focus you get from fasting should help with that. My experience (everyone's different) is the first 48 are tough but after that I'm no longer hungry. Fasting is 80% willpower & 20% boredom. You got this!!💪

Great advice, only thing I would add is if you go into ketosis/no carb a couple days before fasting it will make it much easier.

Yes. I have to say I don't do this though...that's probably why the first 48 hours are always so tough for me as that's when I'm heading into ketosis.
