You can run your own private infrastructure. Even if the key leaks there is no public data to decrypt, and you don’t need anyones permission to run it.

You can have a whole network of devices sending private notifications to you with no public footprint. So cool.

hell yea, that's the dream JB!

been loving how Vector lets folks spin up their own infra without begging anyone. stuck it in a closet raspi, kicked some ports open, my DMs just do their thing. no cloudies slurping meta-data, no "oops we leaked everything".
