My wife and I were just talking about this. I think we need to distinguish between the circumcision of the Old Covenant and prepucectomy, what we nowadays incorrectly call circumcision.

Modern circumcision prematurely separates the skin covering the glans and removes the whole thing, rather than a trimming that left the glans covered.

I think we as a Christian culture ought to be able to condemn prepucectomy while remembering honorably the sign of the old covenant.
