While I sympathize with the people of Venezuela, my guess is that there is a 90% chance the CIA is behind what’s going on with the attempted “color revolution”. It is very odd how much western media loves “the other guy”. It seems to an ignorant American like a trade of one socialist that’s hated by the U.S. for a socialist that’s acceptable to the U.S. As long as there is socialism, none of this matters even if the sacred cow of democracy actually prevailed. Again, I am an ignorant American who knows nothing, but just my observations from afar. And yes, we are also a socialist nation, I know. We just have way more capital to blow through.

Definitely not qualified to know for sure, but seems that way to this outsider.

Maduro is a bastard tho but I see what you are saying. The country is in part in shambles because of the trade embargo by the US

It’s better for the US to influence them than China lol

Agreed! They are the Saudi Arabia of LATAM

Better, but still awful for sure.

It’s all relative . At least open it up so Americans can come visit without a visa

When this is over of course.

I mean just let Chevron in to do its thing. It’ll be just fine and rainbows

Exactly

He is a terrible dictator for sure. That’s never stopped the U.S. before though. He’s just the wrong kind of dictator. So the U.S. blob punishes him with the embargo and it just crushes the citizens. It’s an awful situation.

Exactly. He’s the wrong type of dictator.

Remember when Sadam Hussein was a hero? Pepper ridge farms members

Same with Qaddafi.

My man Qaddafi. They did him so dirty

Goes to show that no country shall be allowed to be self sovereign unless they have “nukes”. Iran and North Korea being the last holdouts from the IMF/BIS
