All this daily and incessant talk by central bankers about how inflation was supposed to be 2% but it would take a long time because it was stubborn you see, but you didn't have to wait for it to fall to 2% to start lowering interest rates etc etc etc......

and all the chatter seems to be mentally training people to stop caring about inflation
