I had to sell #bitcoin for the first time in years. And their P2P service was great.

I sent bitcoin to the escrow, and could withdraw cash at the ATM. I only used an email to sign up. No bank account involved, no KYC.

When I got the cash, I released the bitcoin from the escrow. Done.

The only bad thing was the rate. I lost about $100 on the transaction compared to the exchange rate.

I didn't like seeing my stack decrease. But it was for the family, and my son. And I felt sovereign doing this!

Now, I need to replace these sats...

You sold below the market price on a P2P platform? Typically you should be able to sell at a premium. Maybe you should have been more selective in the offer you choose.

On Bisq and Robosats, you can sell for a premium quite easily.

Not during all time high or sudden price increase.

As p2p trading matures, there are more and more sellers.

Fair and I have observed this, but 2 weeks ago when OP posted, Bitcoin was chilling and Bisq premium was >0%.
