Ok, I'm sure this is a stupid question,... But, what is the benefit and purpose of a note deck?

Notedeck will work without being connected to the Internet, allowing you to browse content that's been already downloaded to the local database allowing you more time to slap people with a large trout.

clicked on song link, took me to last.fm which took me to apple music for which I do not pay… is that the normal outcome?
