Maybe I’ve missed the boat, why is anyone buying a passport when they’re at least 2x more expensive than other options? I see no clear value add versus a cold card, and they have far less software support and integrations.

Has a camera to support scanning qr codes. better screen for reading qr codes. Looks like an old Nokia phone with rechargeable batteries. Having multiple hardware wallets for multisig....etc....
To each their own, not knocking anyone. Just trying to learn. Can’t you get all of those things(minus looks) from the blockstream Jade or upcoming coinkite Q1 for a lot less money?
The Q1 isn't even out so I'm not sure why that's relevant. The jade only recently added functionality to their camera and I believe it has to be used with their app.
