Wavlake only accepts email registration, x or Google if you wish to upload a track. Nostr login is not an option.

I’ll call wavlake Nostr once creators can login with Nostr, tracks become available in other media clients and wavlake becomes a client open to media not on their servers.

If they can abandon the fiat mindset for accepting and enabling hidden self promotion that would also help.

But yeah, they got zaps and a bits and pieces so they can fly the flag.

I agree with that. I did not know the process through the upload side. Thanks for the info.

And I’m sure that’s something that’s important to Sam and Michael as they continue to build out.

It seems inevitable.

Nothing that they do not know already. What bug me the most is that I was able to see the dude manipulating the chart thanks to the supporters count. After informing wavlake of the manipulation and how I was able to spot it, the supporters count is now gone. Not helping my trust

I feel like the early stages of V4V without the scaling is much more ripe for manipulation.

Like Primal “most zapped 4hr”

Like many zap calculated trends.

Just like Fountain at its current state.

I could probably just zap my own show and get it trending but I would never.

I’m not sure the recipe but the problems that come up with lead to solutions. Like Web of Trust or some sort of weighted verification.

It’s a building process. I can’t speak for any of the current V4V apps but I can certainly speculate. 🧐

I think your feedback and everyone else’s is important. Keep speaking up. 🫂

Just bring back the supporters count so I can keep busting them and remove them from my circle.

Custom charts are one of the answers, and it’s nice to see them work on it. It’s disappointing to see a model that facilitate the emulation of labels buying their own music to get the marketing bang via the billboard. It’s peak FIAT in my opinion.
