ai probably won’t help half the world’s population maybe even more. reason is simple. garbage in garbage out. if you can’t think or articulate clearly ai is useless to you.

I think rn it's true but the ability for AI to improve the results of subpar prompts has increased massively over the last years. I think this trend will continue.
this is true if singularity happens and if we merge with ai. i think it will in the next 25 to 30 yrs like many futurists predict. unless ai can read your thoughts directly, it will always depend on your input and that input will shape the quality of the output.

Tomorrow, Microsoft is going to lay off a few thousand more people because the shareholders believe alchemy is a thing now. There is, though, a silver lining to all of that: At least those techies stopped buying houses and hoarding them like people hoarded toilet paper during the pandemic, so normal people might be able to buy a house in the future.
