The #Bitcoin Knots movement is actually a classic tale of populist uprising: the population revolts against a tyrannical ruling class in order to install a dictatorship of their liking.

I think when the populist uprising that leads to a new dictator is fomented by outside sources, we call this a color revolution. IMO, Knotts is a color revolution and the peasants are unlikely to be the beneficiaries of the change.

If you follow that same logic, this entire Bitcoin movement is "populist uprising", and the American Revolution was also "populist uprising" following that same logic, at the end of the day people are choosing witch version of the code they want to run, you can call that "populist uprising" but you can't stop them.

Those were revolutions.

Populism takes place within existing forms of governance.

Parallel or exit = revolution.

Bitcoin is a peaceful revolution, any act to defend it (from Spammers-Scammers) is part of it.

Nice things don't come without a cost and it takes people with courage to say NO or refuse to obey someone else rules.

The easy position is to seat back let them vandalize Bitcoin, don't run a node(Run whatever Core push out), wait for NGU, etc.
