I don't know what their definition of an alpha male at work is, it's like they imagine this cartoon character that walks in and wants to impose himself like a fucking elk in a herd. All workplaces have hierarchies and people are dominant in non-physical, non aggressive ways. There is no screaming or physical violence needed. A soft spoken, elegant, middle aged man can politely make you his bitch in a meeting and there's nothing to complain to HR about.
