My only concern is the backlash it will have on homosexuals. And as I've said before, I'd rather they not fight this on religious grounds. It took so long for Catholics here in Québec to get out from under the church's thumb, I would hate to have it replaced by another. They are already advocating here for there to be prayer rooms for them in public schools.

Wow, I know Muslims are coming from a perspective different from my own, but they are right that schools have no place teaching Muslim kids controversial or inaccurate information about Islam.

It felt like there were a few years when schools understood that their place was to be neutral and stay out of religious and highly personal matters. I guess something happened to change that.
