Personal contact at the same level and giving and allowing all the freedom for their creative mind.
Agreed!
A lesson I’ve learned the hard way: don’t just select people who mirror your vision and self. Look for complimentary skill sets that will supplement your weaknesses.
Great advice
Start with looking for someone who is better than you. He will be the head of the team.
Once you got him find someone who is not as good as the first guy, and not as experience but knows it and has a passion for learning and improving.
Try to find two or three like that. They will be the main producers of the team.
Next take some one young and fresh but really eager to learn. He will be the future of the team.
When your have the development running and the product in an MVP state, find someone who is a hard worker, not that bright and knows it. He will take all the tasks that bore the other team members and do them well.
Most importantly, screen for people who are willing to admit mistakes. I am always right mindset, even if he is 99% correct, will break the team.
That is my 2 cents.
